The Co-Creation Institute for Advanced Materials participated in an exhibition booth in the All Shimane Networking Event 2025, held on Saturday, November 1,2025.

This large-scale networking event unites diverse participants from both the San’in prefectures, including businesses, organizations, educational institutions, university students, and high school students.  This event aims to nurture and retain young, promising and talented people in the region, who will play crucial role in supporting and revitalizing the local community.  It also offers a platform where participants from carious backgrounds can gather and showcase their unique strengths and capabilities.

Our Institute provided an explanation of the 'Manufacturing One-Stop Station' function, which integrates everything from the design of new materials to production process design, prototyping, and performance reliability evaluation, carried out at the Co-Creation Research Institute (Incubation Center) completed in December 2024. We also introduced metal additive manufacturing technology, which is a core technology of this function.

We provided visitors with the opportunity to actually interact with a modeling device meticulously crafted using additive manufacturing technology, offering them an experience of innovative manufacturing techniques capable of producing lightweight components with complex shapes—such as aircraft parts and artificial joints—that were impossible to achieve with conventional manufacturing methods.
