On August 6th (Wednesday) and 7th (Thursday), in conjunction with the schedule of Shimane University's open campus, we organized a visit of the Co-Creation Research Institute (Incubation Center) and an introduction to the graduate school at the Matsue campus, with a total of 85 visitors over the two days.
On those days, we held the demonstrations of research content by the faculty involved in the Co-Creation Institute for Advanced Materials, an introduction to the graduate school at the Matsue campus, company introductions, and hands-on experiences with research equipment.

In the introduction of the research content, visitors had the opportunity to experience the research content and deepened their understanding of the research by engaging in dialogue and asking questions with the faculty members.

In the experience with the digital microscope, visitors enjoyed observing and researching substances at magnifications that cannot be seen with the naked eye, as well as measuring elements.
Additionally, at the graduate school introduction booth, we received inquiries about pursuing graduate studies, and many people showed interest in the company introduction booth.
Through this event we believe it has served as an opportunity for visitors to know about the Co-Creation Research Institute (Incubation Center), as well as to spark interest in graduate research and to envision their future after completing their graduate studies.
